Following the success of our leggings, and their popularity for both in and out of water sports, we have decided to launch a sports top to pair them with. Our top is a classic sports bra style, perfect for medium impact sports. It is made to be tight for sports, so if you intend to swim in it, or do lower impact sports, we do suggest one size up. It is not only supportive, but also features our popular shark skin print, and has been tested in a wide range of activities, from free diving to yoga, with excellent results, making them the perfect choice for sustainable activewear.
Made for the ocean loving adventurer who has fun and sustainability in mind and also wants to help protect the ocean by wearing recycled plastic activewear. This shark dermal denticles print was designed by us to help raise awareness for shark conservation. Most of us have never seen a shark this close up and personal. This 'cutting edge' print is actually layers of denticles (much like our teeth) and will definitely get you noticed.
Just as eco-friendly as it is durable, the shark skin print side of this top is made from recycled PET plastic bottles that have been shredded into flakes and are then melted, shaped and spun into a polyester yarn. The black reverse side is made from ECONYL® regenerated yarn, a yarn made from fishing nets and scraps of fabric that were destined for landfill. This yarn is then spun into a Nylon fabric. The final result is a sustainable fabric with a soft and luxurious feel.
