Let us introduce you to our new sustainable Seashells triangle back top. Designed with sustainability in mind. This top is made from ocean recycled plastics and supports coral reef restoration in Bali with it's profits.
We designed this halter style due to many requests for this particular shape from women with a larger bust. The back was designed with the idea of a shark fin in mind to help raise awareness of the cruel act of shark finning for our Shark Skin print, however we decided to produce it in the popular Seashells print too. In keeping with our ethos of comfort and support, this top has passed our super stringent 'ocean sports' test.
The Seashells print side of the bikini top is made from recycled PET plastic bottles that have been shredded into flakes and are then melted, shaped and spun into a polyester yarn. The Turquoise reverse side is made from ECONYL® regenerated yarn, which is made from fishing nets and scraps of fabric that were destined for landfill. This yarn is then spun into a Nylon fabric. The final result is a sustainable fabric with a soft and luxurious feel.
