Let us introduce you to our new and unique shark dermal denticles print. Sustainable swimwear with a bite! Most of us have never seen a shark this close up and personal. This 'cutting edge' print is actually layers of denticles (much like our teeth) and will definitely get you noticed.
We designed this halter style due to many requests for this particular shape from women with a larger bust. The back was designed with the idea of a shark fin in mind to help raise awareness of the cruel act of shark finning. In keeping with our ethos of comfort and support, this top has passed our super stringent 'ocean sports' test.
The shark denticles print side of the bikini top is made from recycled PET plastic bottles that have been shredded into flakes and are then melted, shaped and spun into a polyester yarn. The plain black reverse side is made from ECONYL® regenerated yarn, which is made from fishing nets and scraps of fabric that were destined for landfill. This yarn is then spun into a Nylon fabric. The final result is a sustainable fabric with a soft and luxurious feel.
